Grow your understanding of how to build and tend a  fire.

Practice traditional methods of making fire without the use of lighters or matches.

Learn the basics of whittling, wood carving, and knife safety.

Join Back to Earth co-founder and lead guide Jesse Sachs for a day of fire making and wood carving in Tilden Park.

Jesse will guide youth participants through a day of building relationship with the fire element, and with the tools and knowledge to make and take care of a fire.
